Development Process


Go to to enter a new case request. If you are already in contact with your customer account manager you can also request a case through them.


You will contacted by a Six S representative to determine next steps.
This process usually includes scoping your project either by following the guidelines on the Six S Development design document or by scoping together with a Six S employee.


Six S will review your requirements and define how we plan to solve your need. After we have agreed upon an approach we will provide you with a quote. Upon receiving a signed quote Six S will commit a resource to your project and define a set schedule.


Six S will begin development on your project and keep you updated as the project progresses. We will work with you directly to iron out road blocks and we will deliver a testable product in your environment at the end of this stage.


After you are satisfied that the product received meets the expectation outlined in the design doc, we will ask you to sign off to close the project.
Upon receiving a final acceptance we will move your project to your live environment for production use.

User Interface

The example below is a UI simplification project done on the Part Entry Screen. You will notice that the before image includes a lot of additional fields and the after image is cleaner with less fields.


The example below is of a custom warning message. In this instance the customer needed to confirm that equipment had been received before scheduling a phase to be completed. When they try to schedule without marking the equipment as received first they are met with this error that stops them from doing so.

The screenshots below are from a completely custom interface designed to support a fabric quoting and sales process that was unique to a customer need. All of the screen’s custom and it included the ability to mass generate quotes, parts and sales orders from one screen utilizing a single data set.
